Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for every child in the class
  • Ensure effective resource utilization and minimize waste
  • Enhance the appeal of the center/class with displays, learning resources, and engaging activities
  • Stay up-to-date with school policies and ensure compliance at all times
  • Communicate regularly with parents and keep them informed about their child's progress
  • Plan and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote children's learning and development
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress
  • Organize events, trips, and celebrations with colleagues as per the Events Calendar
  • Ensure the safety, health, hygiene, and security of children and staff
  • Guide and support assistant teachers and support staff
  • Notify the center head of any areas of concern

Requirements:

  • Calm and composed demeanor with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time, resources, and stress effectively
  • Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and child-related concepts and practices
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office suite
  • Good presentation and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
