About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team at Impetus. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building scalable and maintainable frontend applications using React.js with Typescript and Redux/Mobex.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Code Optimization: Continuously optimize components for maximum performance, adhering to security best practices and achieving good Web Vitals scores.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code coverage and maintain a secure frontend codebase.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in React.js, ECMAScript, and modern front-end build pipelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React.js and Typescript.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript, including DOM manipulation; thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles; experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux) and modern front-end build pipelines.
  • Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, modern authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2 and SSO), and common front-end development tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM).
