As a top-tier company in the industry, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as Chief Electrical Engineer. This role will be based in Nashik/Mumbai and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will lead the design and operation of complex electrical systems across multiple data center sites, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of their work.

This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and manage a diverse team of engineers and technicians.

  • Advanced Electrical System Design and Innovation:
    • Design and implement sophisticated electrical architectures that support high reliability and future scalability.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and integrate innovative technologies to keep our data centers at the forefront of the industry.
  • OEM Partnership and Product Expertise:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to understand and leverage the best and latest in electrical system components and solutions.
    • Utilize deep OEM insights to enhance system designs and solve complex challenges in electrical implementations.
  • Rapid Fault Identification and Resolution:
    • Lead quick-response teams to promptly address and resolve any electrical incidents, minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
    • Develop robust processes and criteria for fast-track Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Leadership and Strategic Oversight:
    • Mentor and manage a diverse team of electrical engineers and technicians across various locations, promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
    • Ensure all team members are aligned with our strategic goals and continue to meet and exceed industry standards.
  • Compliance and Safety Excellence:
    • Guarantee that all electrical systems and projects comply with national and international standards, and adhere to regulatory and environmental requirements.
    • Champion a safety-first culture, implementing rigorous protocols and continuous training for all team members.
  • Project and Resource Management:
    • Efficiently manage multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with technical specifications.
    • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and forecasting to ensure optimal efficiency and resource utilization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role specifically within the data center sector.
  • Expertise in the design and operation of complex electrical systems in data centers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance and innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong track record in rapid fault analysis and resolution.
  • Proficient in the latest electrical engineering software and tools, with a keen understanding of new technologies shaping the industry.
  • Relevant data center certifications such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), or Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD).
  • Safety certifications such as OSHA Certification or equivalent.
