About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Head of Financial Governance to lead our Treasury Management function at People Impact. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective treasury management strategies, managing cash flows, and building strong relationships with lenders and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage processes, tools, and governance for treasury management.
  • Design and execute hedging strategies for commodities and foreign exchange (FX).
  • Plan and monitor cash flows.
  • Lead debt-related activities, including fundraising, restructuring, and legal documentation.
  • Regularly track financial covenants tied to loans or agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, bankers, and consultants.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for banking arrangements.
  • Oversee fund-based and non-fund-based working capital needs.
  • Support ERP enhancements and automate treasury-related processes.
  • Prepare MIS reports for management, lenders, and investors.
  • Facilitate periodic audits, due diligence, and limited reviews with external auditors.
  • Maintain a robust internal controls framework.
  • Ensure compliance with investment policies for surplus funds.
  • Guide investment strategies for surplus funds in line with predefined policies.
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, including institutional investors and banks.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA/PGDBM from a premier institution.
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience (post-qualification).
  • At least 5-8 years in Treasury and IR functions.
  • Industry exposure in Automotive, Retail, or E-commerce.

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per annum
