We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Sales Planning and Business Development to join our team at Tata Motors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales planning and business development functions, driving growth and revenue through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Key account management of current customers, including:

  • Engaging with SCM teams to communicate supply of aggregates as per customer production plans
  • Assisting the Sales Head in preparing and executing the Annual Sale Plan and translating it into Annual Production plans
  • Coordinating periodic quality reviews between key stakeholders and tracking implementation of agreed changes
  • Reviewing consumer insights with customer sales heads to understand additional business opportunities or adverse trends
  • Ensuring timely payment from customers and coordinating with TML finance and customer finance on account reconciliation
  • Tracking customers' new product launches and current machine upgrades and participating in ensuring the Product Development and ERC teams are updated for any new aggregate requirements

New Customer Acquisition

Identifying prospective customers through industry information, syndicated reports, and networking, and engaging with relevant stakeholders to establish TML as a potential supplier partner. This includes:

  • Completing techno-commercial evaluations with the Product Development Team to ensure identified new programs are kicked off as per agreed targets on performance, cost, and timelines
  • Providing field information to the Product line team on competitor technical information, prices, and market trends to ensure continuous improvement on existing products
