Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist will provide comprehensive support to the General Manager in a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment. This role requires a strong engineering background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Support:
Assist the General Manager with high-level administrative tasks, including scheduling, appointments, and confidential information management.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for the General Manager.
2. Project Coordination:
Support key engineering projects by coordinating and monitoring progress, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project updates and compile progress reports for the General Manager.
3. Communication and Liaison:
Serve as a liaison between the General Manager and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and information exchange.
Attend meetings on behalf of the General Manager, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze technical data and reports to provide insights and recommendations to the General Manager.
Prepare regular status reports and presentations on key engineering initiatives.
5. Research and Information Gathering:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keep the General Manager informed.
Collect and analyze data to support decision-making processes.
6. Travel Coordination:
Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for the General Manager as required.
7. Event Planning:
Assist in planning and organizing internal and external events, conferences, and meetings.
