Job Description

Talchemist is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge user interfaces using React.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Mentor and review team tasks and assignments.
  • Conceptualize original ideas to simplify complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Present and defend designs to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer with a proven track record in developing highly dynamic and performant UIs. You should have extensive knowledge of React.js, including advanced features like React Hooks, Redux, Context API, and performance optimizations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
  • Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
