As a Technical Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the company's technical direction and leading the integration of IBM Maximo with our SaaS platform. Your expertise in IBM Maximo architecture and integrations will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure and scalable API-based integrations.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with IBM Maximo (EAM), hands-on knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and strong architectural design skills. You will collaborate with our Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless interoperability between Maximo and our cloud-native mobile/web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of IBM Maximo integrations with our SaaS products, primarily iMaintenance.
  • Define integration patterns and frameworks leveraging REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware where required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance integration solutions.
  • Map Maximo business processes and data models to Innovapptive iMaintenance workflows (Work Orders, Assets, Inventory, Procurement, etc.).
  • Establish API governance, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, SAML, API Keys), and data synchronization strategies.
  • Guide the development and QA teams on best practices for Maximo API utilization and error handling.
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers and internal teams to validate requirements and deliver technical design documents.
  • Provide performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for Maximo integrations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years focused on IBM Maximo architecture and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of IBM Maximo data model, business processes, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
  • Proven expertise in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for Maximo.
  • Hands-on experience with MIF (Maximo Integration Framework) in past projects.
  • Experience with API management tools (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS integration models.
  • Knowledge of mobile application integrations (preferably with enterprise field applications).
  • Proficiency in JSON, XML, and scripting languages for Maximo customization/integration.
  • Experience with security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable architectures.
