Strategic Risk Management Professional

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Risk Management Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact our success.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise-wide risk types, regulatory frameworks, and business process dynamics. They will also have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and implementing a comprehensive risk management process, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Performing risk impact analysis and developing prioritization and mitigation plans.
  • Creating and maintaining a risk assessment matrix across business and corporate functions.
  • Analysing current and emerging risks affecting the organization and providing actionable insights.
  • Reviewing key internal policies and collaborating with stakeholders to provide risk-related inputs.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Technology sector, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Risk Management. A graduate/postgraduate degree from a recognized university is also required. Preferred certifications include CISA, PGDRM, FRM, ISO 27001:2013, and GRCP.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise-wide risk types, regulatory frameworks, and business process dynamics.
  • Exposure to information technology risks and ability to design appropriate mitigation strategies (preferred).
  • Ability to identify patterns and forecast trends associated with various risk exposures.

Preferred Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Experience with risk management tools and technologies is also desirable.
