Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Lead to join our Real Estate and Engineering (RE&E) function in Amazon India. This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing financial operations, business partnering, strategic decision support, financial controllership, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Amazon network
  • Develop and implement cost out initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements, and cost savings initiatives
  • Manage monthly variance analysis and reporting
  • Evaluate and improve methodologies that are the core of our business models and tools
Requirements
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools
  • Ability to lead long-term strategic planning, annual planning, variance analysis, and ad-hoc projects and analysis
  • Proven track record of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data and creating/implementing an escalation plan
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
