Job Description
As a Business Development Manager - Hotels, you will be responsible for analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
You will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads, plan, develop new room sales business while maintaining and servicing existing accounts, secure rooms sales from the corporate and leisure markets, and exceed personal sales goals through account development and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, be able to build strong relationships with clients/guests who have business potential, and have a sound knowledge of key trends in local markets.
A bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is required, along with at least 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing.
