Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Shopify Developer with 2-3+ years of experience to join our remote team. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify websites, bringing e-commerce projects to life with high-quality code and efficient solutions.

This role involves working on various e-commerce projects using different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc). The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/Jquery. Additionally, they should be able to convert Figma designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces on Shopify, ensuring design fidelity and optimal user experience across devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop e-commerce projects with various Shopify JS APIs.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/Jquery is required.
  • Convert Figma designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces on Shopify.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design is essential.
  • Ability to design stores from scratch (PSD to .Liquid).
  • Collaborate with other members on e-commerce projects.
  • Act as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform.
  • Install and customize new Shopify themes.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language is necessary.
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of experience in Website Development.
  • General experience building, launching, and maintaining stores, as well as general knowledge of the admin system.
  • Demonstrable expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including an in-depth understanding of DOM.
  • Experience with Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating is required.
  • Implement and debug 3rd-party Shopify apps, as well as create custom solutions if necessary.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
  • Strong testing and debugging skills using browser consoles and external tools.
  • Experience developing for responsive layouts on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Experience working with 3rd-party services and APIs, specifically plugins for Shopify.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide proactive feedback to peers and team.
  • Good organizational skills are necessary.
Estimated Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
