To enhance merchants' business, Paytm offers commerce services through advertising and the Paytm Mini app store. By leveraging this platform, the company offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans, and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.

About the Team:

The SAP Support team at Paytm facilitates existing ERP support and new implementation processes for all Paytm entities.

About the Role:

This role involves implementing and maintaining multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, testing, and production). The successful candidate will administer the SAP database, including planning and performing database upgrades, applying database maintenance, designing and maintaining physical database layout, performing database reorganizations, designing and implementing backup and restore strategies, maintaining database security, administering database performance, managing database storage, and resolving database problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Distribute online SAP user workload and monitor and manage SAP background job workload SAP Roles, Authorization, and Securities.
  2. Manage system performance, upgrades, corrections, and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling.
  3. Install, upgrade, and maintain SAP and SAP-related software products.
  4. Perform SAP software installation, maintenance, and administration of UNIX and Windows-based servers running SAP S/4, Solution Manager, Fiori, Hana, Gateway, SAP Cloud appliances.
  5. Administer Suse Linux/Windows Server.
  6. Daily monitoring (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.), administering, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.
  7. Set up SAP HANA Replication.
  8. Administer BTP/SAC and Cloud Connector.
  9. Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import).
  10. Implement and maintain multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, testing, and production).
Requirements:
  1. 6+ years of experience in system administration, configurations, monitoring, and role & authorizations.
  2. Independently handle BASIS implementation, upgrade, maintenance, and production support.
  3. HANA landscape management and network administration with SAP HANA XS runtime environment.
  4. High availability (including backup and recovery) and scalability and DR administration.
  5. Data access and integration with SAP HANA data provisioning tools and technologies.
  6. Complete Solution Manager configurations and interfaces with different instances.
  7. Update HANA content/libraries/support packs/revisions/alert thresholds/client refresh and export/import/OSS management.
  8. Monitor overall systems/services/resources/alerts/backups/performance.
  9. SAP Database Administrator plans and performs database upgrades, maintains database security, administers database performance, and manages database storage, database problem determination, and resolution.
