Job Summary


The Associate role at Fidelity is a key position in our Risk and Compliance team, focused on ensuring the smooth functioning of customer instructions and maintaining high service standards. This role requires a strong understanding of Fidelity's products and businesses, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Fidelity's products and services, as well as the internal and external clients.
  • Process work items within agreed service levels and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality, Productivity, and regulatory standards.
  • Take ownership of individual issues and ensure their resolution to the satisfaction of the customer and client.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling client-sensitive information.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of procedures and processes.
  • Perform risk assessments, reviews, and due diligence on client accounts.
  • Monitor and control client relationships, including AML and adverse media screening.
  • Review and approve client documentation and source of wealth information.

Requirements



  • Minimum qualification: Graduate with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
  • B. Com or equivalent bachelor's degree from a recognized university (technical roles may require BCA or equivalent).
  • Awareness of AML regulations, PEP and Sanctions, and knowledge of trusts, partnerships, and corporate structures.
  • Understanding of screening systems, such as World-Check and Experian.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive investigations and research.
  • Strong risk awareness and common sense approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, with a flexible and team-spirited approach.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to improving customer service and processes.
