Job Description:

Pioneering a new frontier in Mixed Reality, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to spearhead our Research-Oriented initiatives.

This role involves pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling, experimenting with novel rendering techniques, and developing custom shaders. If you're passionate about scripting creative tools, automating workflows, and inventing new visuals no one has seen before, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Design and prototype innovative visual effects and rendering methods for MR
  • Develop custom shaders using GLSL, HLSL, OSL, Shader Graph, and other technologies
  • Script and automate workflows in Blender, Maya, Houdini, or similar DCCs
  • Apply a deep understanding of 2D/3D rendering concepts, lighting, materials, and post-effects
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to bring ideas to life across MR devices
  • Explore the visual language of MR, invent new aesthetics, and interaction paradigms
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist, Shader Artist, or Visual R&D Specialist
  • Strong grasp of real-time and offline rendering fundamentals
  • Proficient in scripting inside Blender (Python), Maya (MEL/Python), Houdini (VEX/HScript), or similar
  • Ability to write and debug custom shaders
  • A creative technologist mindset, experimental, curious, and cross-disciplinary
  • Deep interest in Mixed Reality, spatial design, or immersive visuals
