About the Role

Are you a seasoned security professional with a passion for cloud infrastructure and automation? We're seeking a highly skilled Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security group, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, and securing core AWS services, including VPCs, TGWs, VPNs, security groups, and networking access.

You'll collaborate closely with our Infosec team to recommend and implement security best practices, partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to understand their SecOps requirements, and identify security gaps to drive initiatives aligned with business goals. Additionally, you'll strengthen Kubernetes/EKS clusters with best practices around RBAC, secrets management, runtime security, and policy-as-code.

You'll also implement and manage AWS security tools – IAM (SSO/Identity Center), SecurityHub, GuardDuty, Config, KMS, and Control Tower guardrails. Furthermore, you'll set up and tune CSPM and SIEM platforms, and deploy WAF (Cloudflare) and IDS/IPS solutions for active threat detection and mitigation.

As a Lead DevSecOps Engineer, you'll build secure automation workflows using Linux fundamentals, scripting, and IaC for repeatable, auditable infrastructure. You'll require strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services, experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, and solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals.

  • 6-10 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services (IAM, GuardDuty, SecurityHub, Config, Control Tower, KMS).
  • Experience managing and securing Kubernetes/EKS workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security.
  • Solid understanding of AWS networking and security fundamentals (VPNs, VPCs, TGW, firewalls, routing).
What You Will Need

To succeed as a Lead DevSecOps Engineer, you'll need strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix, scripting (Bash/Python), and cloud automation. You'll also require practical knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF solutions (Cloudflare) and firewall appliances (Palo/Fortinet). Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and ability to balance speed with security are essential skills for this role.
