Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineering professional to lead and participate in teams designing world-class Pressure and Temperature field instruments. Our products deliver highly accurate pressure and temperature measurements with unmatched reliability to help customers in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary global development team to design and implement embedded real-time systems that meet rigorous functional safety and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Work in an agile development environment using Azure DevOps and lead cross-functional teams through product definition processes.
  • Present status updates and development metrics to management and participate in sprint planning sessions.
  • Perform extensive peer reviews, manage code changes using version control tools, and create and execute unit and integration tests for verifying firmware requirements.
  • Debug software and hardware/software integration issues, prototype software on custom hardware, and perform low-level board bring-up.
  • Potential to lead two to three engineers by providing work direction, coaching, and technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or M. Sc. Electronics with a focus on programming.
  • Expert programming skills with C/C++ compilers and linkers.
  • Prior embedded development experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Ethernet Stack - TCP/IP/UDP, Fieldbus, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
  • Cybersecurity and SIS product development experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial digital communication protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience with RTOS, distributed version control, and static code analysis tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with micro-controllers and serial communication protocols.
