Cloud Engineer Job Description

  • Ensure that the AI Platform (Vertex AI) is available and functioning as expected.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Platforms with an understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 10-12 years with 6+ years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering. Key skills include Terraform, Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, Vertex AI, and DevSecOps practices.

AI Platforms: Understanding of AI platforms in a cloud environment including Vertex AI, CoPilot, Sagemaker, Bedrock.

Infrastructure as Code: Intermediate proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL) and network and security principles.

Additionally, we're looking for candidates with strong experience working with common architecture patterns and an understanding of AI/ML workflows.

Good-to-Have:

  • SAFe: Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • BDD: Strong experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) creation for testing.
