Job Opportunity: Strategic HR Generalist

A leading consultancy is seeking a seasoned HR professional to oversee human resource operations, with a focus on recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including defining job descriptions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and finalising offers.
  • Develop and maintain robust candidate pipelines through established networks and platforms.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, role expectations, and team structures.
  • Implement streamlined timesheet submission processes for all employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate salary disbursals, contractor payments, and reimbursements with the finance team.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team bonding activities, and celebration of milestones.
  • Administer study leave and exam reimbursement policies, track certification attempts, and support learning and development initiatives.
  • Design and execute structured onboarding processes and ensure positive new hire experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a startup, consultancy, or remote-first organisation.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, UK employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across levels.
  • Experience working with HR software, tools, and analytics reporting.
