About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving annual sales results and business growth versus an established customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales results and business growth versus an established customer base.
  • Understand and assess customers' needs, business objectives, strategies, and build compelling customer value propositions representing our portfolio.
  • Manage and develop distributors under company rules to provide high-quality product and service to end-customers and ensure healthy market competition in assigned areas.
  • Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms, coordinate internal departments to serve customers in the best possible ways, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the central resource for communications with customers on new product developments in our portfolio.
  • Provide reliable sales forecasts to ensure proper product availability planning.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships, fortify company positions at key accounts, and work on sales systems and sales & market reports on time and in quality.
  • Collect customer and market competition information to support market strategy development.
  • Own customer complaint (OFI) resolution and cost control for defined areas.

Requirements:

  • University graduate or post-graduate major in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales/marketing experience in Agro Chemicals industry - Crop Protection and Surfactants applications.
  • Good command of English, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly for customer interaction.
  • Able to work under high pressure and willing to travel frequently.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is ₹12,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Nouryon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
