We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Regularly review system and application logs to identify potential issues.
  • Participate in the administration of backup operations to ensure data security.
  • Maintain floating license servers to support our software applications.
  • Apply OS and firmware patches and upgrades to ensure system stability.
  • Configure and upgrade infrastructure systems and software as needed.
  • Requirements:
    • 2-3 years of experience in Linux administration (Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu, Suse).
    • Strong knowledge of Samba and NFS configuration in a multi-platform environment.
    • Experience with Mac OS and Windows application deployment and integration is a plus.
    • Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and Horizon View.
    • Knowledge of Windows 10 OS, including installation and configuration.
    • Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
    • Strong working knowledge of Linux, including command-line interfaces.
    • Understanding of servers, networking, storage, and render systems for troubleshooting purposes.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Python coding skills.
  • Shell scripting experience.
  • LAN/WAN networking knowledge.
  • Experience troubleshooting creative programs such as Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, Nuke, Fusion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Redhat Certified System Engineer (RHCE) is a must.
  • Other certifications like MCSE, CCNA are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience managing 200+ workstations is a plus.
