Job Summary

Prescience Decision Solutions seeks a skilled Quantitative Business Analyst to join our team. As a Quantitative Business Analyst, you will collaborate with business units and enterprise functions to conduct research and analysis on complex topics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply functional expertise to assist in the development of non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights utilizing statistical techniques and document the process.
  • Present actionable recommendations to enhance revenue, minimize expenses, and optimize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Gather and define business requirements, translating them into data-driven insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, and storage and processing solutions as part of group technology initiatives.
  • Develop custom reports and conduct ad-hoc analyses to provide insights and mentor less-experienced staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data governance and risk management policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at achieving strategic goals, such as risk management and capital objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and other business and technology teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong SQL experience along with proficiency in Advanced Excel.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
  • Solid numerical aptitude and hands-on dashboarding and business analytics experience.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating effectively with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Preferably experienced in the ecommerce or retail domain.
