Job Title: DevOps Cloud EngineerAbout the Role

Sampoorna Consultants Pvt. Ltd seeks a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing complex cloud infrastructures on AWS.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and more.
  • Familiarity with newer AWS services and ability to stay updated with the evolving ecosystem.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Proficiency in tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Ability to design, deploy, and manage complex infrastructures.
CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline.
  • Ability to automate deployments, testing, and monitoring.
Security Best Practices
  • Strong understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, network security, data encryption, and compliance.
Monitoring and Logging
  • Expertise in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Wajuh, Grafana, ELK stack, Kibana.
SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
  • Experience in implementing SIEM tools.
Problem-Solving SkillsTroubleshooting
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in a multi-account, multi-region AWS environment.
Optimization
  • Skill in optimizing AWS resources for cost, performance, and reliability.
Project Management and CollaborationProject Leadership
  • Experience leading DevOps projects from initial planning and design to execution and maintenance.
Collaboration
  • Ability to work closely with developers, QA, security, and operations teams.
Mentorship and Team DevelopmentMentoring
  • As a senior, you should mentor and guide junior team members.

  • Regularly share knowledge through documentation, presentations, or workshops.

  • AWS professional certificate is a must.
Role Overview

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will be involved in the whole Software Development Lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to developing infrastructure features, deploying, and testing software, and maintaining and continuously improving it. You should take initiative and continuously suggest improvements in existing processes and tools to optimize output. A quick thinker who can troubleshoot and investigate application and infrastructure issues in production environments independently, ensuring zero escalations. A self-driven member open to working with various technologies and teams whenever required. Should be able to properly estimate and then deliver the work within the stipulated sprint timelines.
