Strategic Business Growth Specialist

The Strategic Business Growth Specialist will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expansion in the Commercial Business, Projects Mumbai. This involves planning and executing strategies to achieve business objectives, managing tenders, building relationships with architects and interior designers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver results.
Responsibilities:- BUILD A SALES ORDER PIPELINE BY REACHING OUT TO KEY CUSTOMERS
- FOLLOW-UP AND ENSURE TIMELY COLLECTIONS FROM CUSTOMERS
- COORDINATE WITH THE LOGISTICS TEAM FOR TIMELY DELIVERY OF MATERIALS
- WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS TEAM TO BUILD THE SPECIFICATION PIPELINE
- ADDRESS CUSTOMERS' TECHNICAL QUERIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- IDENITFY KEY CUSTOMER SEGMENTS AND DEVELOP LOCAL INITIATIVES TO INCREASE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
- MANAGE LARGE TENDERS FROM SPECIFICATION STAGE TO FINAL CLOSING STAGE
- FOCUS ON CONVERSION OF QUOTATIONS TO PURCHASE ORDERS
- PREPARE AND PRESENT BUSINESS REPORTS ON A MONTHLY/QUARTERLY/YEARLY BASIS
- COLLABORATE WITH INTERNAL TEAMS TO ENGAGE CUSTOMERS THROUGH EVENTS AND TRADE FAIRS
- STRONG CUSTOMER FOCUS
- DRIVE TO DELIVER HIGH GROWTH
- GOOD RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MS EXCEL AND POWERPOINT
- ABILITY TO MAKE EFFECTIVE CONVERSATIONS WITH CUSTOMERS
- FUNTIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF PROJECT BUSINESS IN THE BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY
- ABILITY TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY
- GRADUATE ENGINEERS; SPECIALIZATION IN CIVIL/MACHINE STREAM WILL BE PREFERRED
- MBA IN SALES AND MARKETING WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
- RELEVANT EXPERIENCE OF 7 – 12 YEARS WITH THE SAME INDUSTRY
