Structural engineering is a multidisciplinary field that requires expertise in design, analysis, and execution of complex projects.

This role involves advanced structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and composite structures, with a focus on precision semiconductor tools and cleanroom environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of industrial construction practices, materials science, and geotechnical challenges. India-specific codes, regulations, and execution practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural Analysis and Design: Perform advanced structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and composite structures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Foundation and Support Systems: Design vibration-isolated foundations and support systems for precision semiconductor tools to maintain precise control over temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.
  • Design Intent and Quality Standards: Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction and compliance with quality standards.
  • Value Engineering Initiatives: Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance by identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
  • Site Monitoring and Management: Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design and quality standards, manage site modifications, and ensure timely incorporation into design documentation.
  • Technical Coordination and Communication: Facilitate coordination between contractors, consultants, and client teams to resolve technical issues and conflicts.
  • Structural Audits and Inspections: Conduct structural audits, material testing, and site inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Technical Queries and Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries (TQs) and RFIs, and resolve technical issues related to load-bearing capacity, seismic resilience, and geotechnical challenges.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to local codes, safety standards, and client specifications, support QA/QC inspections and audits, review method statements and risk assessments from contractors, and flag non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
  • Project Representation and Scheduling: Represent the client in technical meetings and workshops, track progress against design and execution milestones, and maintain clear documentation of decisions, changes, and approvals.
  • Reporting and Communication: Assist in preparing reports for client leadership and stakeholders, and maintain logs for drawings, approvals, changes, and technical queries.
