Responsibilities:

  • Plugin Development & Theme Integration: Develop high-quality plugins and integrate them with existing WordPress themes.
  • Project Handling: Work independently on projects from initiation to completion.
  • Operational Management: Manage day-to-day operations as a WordPress expert.
  • Requirements Planning: Plan and document requirements based on the WordPress framework.
  • Content Publishing: Customize and publish content using existing WordPress themes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with design and programming teams to achieve project goals.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews with team members.
  • Clients Management: Communicate and manage multiple clients effectively.
  • International Clients: Interact with international clients.
  • Technical Maintenance: Regularly review WordPress components, widgets, and plugins to ensure solutions stay up-to-date and secure.
  • Website Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize secure, reusable, and scalable websites.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers and other development team members to create detailed specification documents and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Agile/SCRUM Environment: Ability to work efficiently in an Agile or SCRUM environment.
  • Team and Client Handling: Excellent handling of team and client interactions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, task prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Web Services Knowledge: Knowledge of consuming and creating web services (a plus).
  • Github Knowledge: Essential Github knowledge.
