Technical Leadership Opportunity

Seeking a seasoned and innovative Technical Leader to spearhead our game development team.

Responsibilities
  • Team Oversight: Lead and mentor a team of skilled game engineers, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of game projects, ensuring they meet timelines, quality standards, and technical excellence.
  • Technical Vision: Provide expertise in architecture design, coding standards, and best practices for game development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, producers, and QA to align on goals and deliverables throughout the development cycle.
  • Feature Development: Drive implementation of new features and mechanics, translating creative concepts into technical solutions.
  • Code Quality: Conduct reviews to maintain high standards, improve codebase health, and support QA in bug detection and resolution.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure seamless gameplay experiences across platforms and devices by optimizing performance and resource efficiency.
  • Technology Assessment: Stay current on emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends, and assess their potential impact.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential challenges in projects and define proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide clear updates to senior management, track progress, and maintain transparency with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience in game development.
  • Strong technical background in game programming and engines (Unity or Unreal).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player psychology.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile Scrum).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for gaming and commitment to delivering engaging player experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
