Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, they will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax compliance and notices
  3. Prepare and file consolidated and standalone financial statements in compliance with jurisdictional laws
  4. Manage treasury operations, including cash flow management and foreign exchange
  5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure good practice for outgoing payments and allocation of incoming receipts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or CPA or ACCA qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 3 years in the Financial Shared Services domain or in a Finance Department
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
