About the Role
Dess Digital Meetings is a leading software provider for efficient and effective paperless board and committee meetings. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options, gathering market and client intelligence
• Arrange meetings with potential client C-level executives to prospect for new business
• Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements; Identify product requirements in assigned accounts by engaging with different user teams to increase product usage
• Demonstrate the product by understanding specific requirements of the prospects
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
• Research and recommend new opportunities; recommend profit and service improvements
• Engage deeply with the prospect and study the organization hierarchy and decision makers
• Negotiate the terms and achieve sales
• Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets; and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
• Collect and analyze customer feedback and perspectives
• Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process
