API Sales Leader for APAC Territories

As an API Sales Leader, you will contribute to the growth of Biocon's business in APAC territories. Your primary objectives are:
- BD Strategy
- Determine strategies for selected Global Accounts.
- Build wallet share of business for Biocon API in APAC territories.
- Leading Sales and Account Management
- Assist regional business head in day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses.
- Grow share of business and expand relationships within customers.
You will be responsible for deploying a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts, identifying supply chain challenges, and developing value-creating solutions. You will also interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses and co-ordinate with various departments for samples, regulatory requirements, and documentation.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILEWe seek an individual with at least 5-10 years of relevant industry experience in API sales and BD in APAC regions. The ideal candidate should possess high energy, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. They should be able to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines and have demonstrated experience in contributing to negotiation and closing of partnership agreements. Strong leadership qualities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment are essential.
The role requires travel once the candidate is established in the role and has demonstrated ability to manage projects. A good negotiation and presentation technique, well-versed sales techniques, and customer psychology knowledge are necessary.
