About the Role

AU SMALL FINANCE BANK is seeking a highly skilled Business Growth Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Business Banking division, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion across the region.

Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Monitor the profit and loss (P&L) of your region, ensuring optimal financial performance and maximizing earnings while containing risks.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients at key levels, optimizing facility utilization and ensuring 100% renewal in Year 2 of acquisition.
  • CASA Acquisition: Drive CASA (Current Account Savings Account) acquisition of Business Banking customers, contributing to the bank's market share growth.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor the portfolio closely, ensuring that yield, delinquency, and fee income targets are met.
Non-Financial Responsibilities
  • Travel and Team Management: Travel extensively throughout the defined region for minimum 11 working days in a month, managing a set of Cluster Heads to establish new borrowing relationships for Business Banking (SME).
  • Client Coverage and Team Guidance: Track client coverage by the Acquisitions Team in the given territory, closely monitoring Daily Call Reports to ensure desired productivity.
  • Relationship Building: Meet all big clients in your region, establishing relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Product Development: Liaise closely with Product and Portfolio Head and Regional Credit Manager/National Credit Manager to devise better products, minimize delinquency, and drive healthy business growth.
  • Customer Origination and Delinquency: Monitor customer origination and delinquency for each Cluster, guiding them accordingly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Training and Handholding: Handhold the team to ensure they are well-trained, making the right pitch to clients and instilling trust through extensive knowledge of their industry.
Compliance & Risk Responsibilities
  • Loan Portfolio Management: Manage the existing loan portfolio, ensuring establishment of appropriate account plans and recommending credit facilities in line with Bank credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks.
  • Financial Analysis and Documentation: Implement and maintain complete control aspects, including financial analysis of statements of accounts, documentation, and periodical client visits call reports.

  • People Management: Demonstrate effective people management skills to lead and motivate teams.
  • Communication and Presentation: Possess good written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Networking and Attention to Detail: Exhibit good networking skills and an eye for detail to identify early warning signals.
Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant with relevant experience in Business Banking. We offer a competitive salary package of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
