Team Overview

The Guest Engagement Product (GEP) comprises three Product Portfolios – Guest Data Platform (GDP), Loyalty, and Guest Messaging – which enable relevant and connected experiences through the use of data, personalization, and the Target Circle Loyalty program, making shopping easy and fun for our guests.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead Data Enrichment and spearhead our Digital Identity strategy. This role will play a crucial part in shaping how Target understands and interacts with our guests, ensuring we meet their needs with precision and care. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing our digital identification strategy, enhancing our capabilities for real-time personalization and precision advertising. Your work will impact millions of users, driving engagement and ensuring a tailored, relevant experience every time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking strategy for guest digital identity, focusing on identity matching and device stitching. Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to develop strategies for promoting and driving adoption of digital products related to customer identity management.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partner with teams across Target, including Engineering, Data Sciences, Digital, and Roundel to create robust digital identity solutions that prioritize security and privacy.
  • Performance Excellence: Define and track key metrics to measure the success of our digital identity initiatives, ensuring we continuously improve and innovate. Execute the product strategy and roadmap to achieve key business objectives (OKRs).
  • Industry Expertise: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends related to customer identity management and maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies and industry best practices in digital product ownership and customer identity management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience & Expertise: 8+ years in Product management, including experience with guest identity or marketing domains. Retail industry experience is a plus.
  • Guest-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding and enhancing the guest experience, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and influence, with a track record of success in building and executing product strategies.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong quantitative and technical background, with experience in Agile methodologies, data management, and Adtech.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional storytelling and presentation abilities, with a knack for influencing stakeholders and driving consensus.
About You:

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team to drive innovation and growth at Target. The estimated salary for this role is $140,000-$160,000 per year, depending on experience.
