About the Role:

Vida XL India is seeking an experienced Senior ABAP Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions for our EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ABAP Programming: Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements in the EWM environment using strong expertise in ABAP programming language.
  2. EWM Expertise: Configure, design, and implement EWM processes within the SAP EWM module, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
  3. Customs and Compliance: Understand customs and compliance regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Carrier Management: Configure and manage carrier integration within the EWM system, including setting up carrier interfaces and ensuring smooth transportation management.
  5. Integration Skills: Integrate EWM with other SAP modules, such as SAP ERP, SAP TM, or SAP GTS, for end-to-end processes.
  6. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex issues within the EWM system, including debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
  7. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of custom developments and configurations for knowledge transfer and auditing purposes.
  8. Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of ABAP developments through rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  9. Project Experience: Work on EWM implementations and upgrades, taking responsibility for various project phases, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  10. SAP Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with SAP's best practices and latest EWM developments to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  11. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for project success.
  12. Troubleshooting Skills: Identify and address issues that may arise during EWM and customs management processes.

About You:

We are looking for a resource with 7-8 years of experience in EWM, strong ABAP programming skills, and knowledge of carrier management and customs. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
