Overview:

Axis Bank seeks a skilled Business Development Manager to join its Wholesale Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and improving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities across various sectors, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and expand market share, aligning with the bank's overall growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams and risk management, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of business initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA or PGDBM preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations, products, and services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding business relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse client groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and applications used in banking.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of ₹8-12 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a basic salary, Axis Bank offers a range of benefits, including performance bonuses, stock options, medical insurance, and retirement savings plans.
