Position Overview

ACME Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to join their team in the Renewable power sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and optimizing project plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of hydro and pumped storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies to address potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all planning activities.
  • Procurement Support: Support procurement processes by providing insights on project timelines and resource requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning within the hydro and pumped storage power sectors.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Proficiency in Presentation preparation skills in MS PowerPoint.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Cost Estimation: Experience with cost estimation and budget management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of complete execution cycle in hydro and PSP projects.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
