AWS Cloud System Administrator Job Summary

Job Title: AWS System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced AWS system administrator to join our team at Hyqoo. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and administering AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions. They will also develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.

In addition to these responsibilities, the AWS system administrator will oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources. They will analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments. They will also possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
