Backend Engineering Expertise

As a seasoned backend engineer, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our application architecture by migrating core functionality from a legacy .NET monolith to a cutting-edge event-driven system built on Java Spring Boot microservices.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual who can take ownership of complex systems, drive innovation, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Develop High-Performance Microservices: Architect, build, and maintain scalable and efficient Java Spring Boot applications that provide seamless integrations with our platform.
  • Legacy Code Migration: Analyze existing .NET code, understand its business logic, and lead its successful migration to the new Java stack, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Implement a modern event-driven system using cloud-native technologies like Google Cloud Pub/Sub, enabling real-time communication between microservices.
  • Cloud-Native Solutions: Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, including Cloud Functions, Spanner, and Firestore, to drive scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Code Quality & Deployment: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, and ensure smooth deployment through a robust CI/CD pipeline.
  • System Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the entire system, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement, to drive informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, REST APIs, NodeJs, Microservices, GraphQL, React, Javascript, and GCP technologies.
  • Experience with legacy code migration, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
