Job Title: Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer

At Oblige IT, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing full stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our scientific team to understand complex scientific challenges and design solutions.
  • Develop full stack web applications using JavaScript, Angular, and RxJS.
  • Deploy cloud-based applications to AWS using Docker.
  • Deliver automated algorithms and analytics as part of applications.
  • Integrate applications with instruments to drive automation and collect data.
  • Contribute to multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5-6 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in full stack web application development using modern frameworks.
  • Experience with web user interface design using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript libraries.
  • Experience using and designing web services and REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and modeling relational databases.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices: agile, unit/integration testing, Git, CI/CD.
  • Effective communication skills: ability to work directly with team and users to understand requirements, explain and document solutions, and write technical and user-facing documentation.
  • Familiarity with Docker and AWS technologies like EC2, S3, SQS, etc.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in Life Sciences, pharma/biotech, or related scientific field.
  • Experience working with Node.js, Nest.js, and Angular (RxJS).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, and ORMs like Sequelize or Prisma.
  • Experience documenting technical specifications, system architecture, user workflows.
  • Familiarity with analytics, statistics, and machine learning.
