About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager/AVP - Growth and Partnerships to drive our expansion by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and developing initiatives that enhance our market presence and user base.
This role is critical in driving Zavo's growth and will play a key part in shaping the company's future.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with lenders, financial institutions, and fintech companies to expand Zavo's ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize mutual growth opportunities.
Growth Strategy:
- Formulate and implement growth strategies to increase user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Leverage data-driven strategies to enhance user experiences and promote disciplined credit habits.
Business Development:
- Lead initiatives to expand Zavo's services into new markets or customer segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Technology) to align business development efforts with company goals.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize analytics to inform strategies and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Build and mentor a high-performing growth and partnerships team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Brand Representation:
- Represent Zavo at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all partnerships and initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or growth roles within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing strategic partnerships.
- Experience in digital lending, personal finance apps, or related sectors is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Estimated Salary Range:$120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
