Senior Software Engineer for Cloud and Virtualization

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team at CommScope. As an expert in cloud and virtualization technologies, you will play a key role in designing and developing networking-based applications using C/C++/Golang/Python.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong computer networking background and experience with Linux-based platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and virtual networking technologies. They should also possess expertise in crafting integration and unit test plans for system-level, subsystem-level, and feature-level testing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/postgraduate degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication
  • Expertise in computer networks with a focus on virtual networking
  • Experience with Linux-based platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and virtual networking technologies
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/UDP, IP protocols, and understanding of basic OSI model

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working expertise in LTE 4G, 5G (enodeB/gNB) testing
  • Proven understanding in 5G and 4G Backhaul and Fronthaul network architecture specifically passionate about Radio Access Network
  • Proficient with debugging tools - QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, etc.
  • Automation experience preferred
