Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Functional Consultant to assist our client's Workday HCM project post go-live, covering 3-4 countries. This role demands excellent knowledge of HR business processes, methodologies, and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Gathering Requirements

  • Ensure proper requirements are gathered, documented, and clearly state the needs of the business.
  • Translate requirements and processes into realistic, innovative business and system design solutions.

Design and Documentation

  • Ensure designs are well-documented and socialized with technical teams to achieve alignment on approach and future strategy.
  • Work closely with all technical teams involved and close gaps quickly to speed up the system development process.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure unit testing and integration testing including the documentation of unit test plans and evidence of testing is completed.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing of application and integrations prior to business testing and provide signoff.

User Acceptance Testing

  • Assist with the user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects, and enhancements ensuring that the final solution delivers against business requirements.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Serve as the conduit between the internal functional owner community and the software development team(s) through which requirements flow and are designed, built, and tested.
  • Keep project manager and other critical members of the team updated on task status and ensure risks and issues are logged and tracked.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide input to project plan and create implementation plans for larger, more complex deployments.
  • Provide post-go-live/hyper-care support with ability to troubleshoot issues with critical thinking in pressure situations.

Qualifications:

We require an individual with at least 8 years of proven HR experience working as a technical lead and experienced systems analyst for major projects. Strong experience with core HR processes and supporting technology platforms is essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical foundation experience with Workday HCM, a balance of Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Compensation expertise, and ability to analyze and document complex business processes. Experience documenting process and system flowcharts in Visio is required.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
