Senior Oracle Visual Builder Studio Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of custom web and mobile applications integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VBS, JavaScript-based UI development, and Fusion REST API integrations.

The role requires strong skills in JavaScripthtmlcssjsonREST/SOAP APIs, experience in using Fusion REST APIs and secure integration (OAuth2, Basic Auth) is essential. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules (e.g., Financials, SCM) and understanding of Fusion Cloud extensibility options and security model are also required.

Responsibilities include designing and building custom web and mobile apps using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), extending Oracle Fusion Cloud UI via embedded VBS components, page composer, or application composer. Strong documentation skills – high-level designs, technical design documents, sandbox setup guides, and customization migration steps – are necessary for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing OAuth2-secured API calls, business logic, validations, and data formatting in VBS, setting up and managing deployment pipelines in Oracle Visual Builder Studio or external CI/CD tools. Optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues across different environments (Dev/Test/Prod) is also key. Preparing and maintaining technical design documents, configuration guides, and user documentation are also key responsibilities.

This role involves enforcing best practices in naming conventions, reusability, and secure coding standards, conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers in VBS and modern web design practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
