Job Summary:

Invokhr seeks a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of its Microsoft D365 ERP system. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and planning the project, executing and controlling it, and ensuring timely completion and quality delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP implementation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Design: Develop detailed project plans, outline key milestones, deadlines, and resource allocations, and oversee the design phase of the D365 ERP system to ensure alignment with business processes and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and consultants, and ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and changes.
  • Resource Coordination and Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure the project remains within budget and on schedule, including scheduling team members, managing IT infrastructure needs, and overseeing software and hardware procurement.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project timeline and budget, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and ensure a plan is in place for dealing with unforeseen complications.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Monitor the quality of work and ensure the D365 ERP implementation adheres to industry standards and compliance requirements, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure quality thresholds are met.
  • Revenue and Collections: Coordinate with the account team to ensure billing to the client as per the engagement letter and coordinate with the client SPOC to ensure collections in line with agreed payment terms.
  • Reporting: Draft and submit periodic reports to management across the projects being managed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: CA/ICWA or Graduation in Engineering (preferably mechanical, industrial engineering, or production engineering) but excluding computer science, information technology, and information systems) from a premier institute. Postgraduate in management (with majors in finance, supply chain management, production, or operations) would be preferred.
  • Certification: Certification in Prince2, PMP, SAFE, or other project management tracks is desired.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of ERP systems and software, with the ability to grasp technical details and translate them for various stakeholders. Knowledge of the standard implementation methodology of Microsoft D365, Oracle Fusion, or SAP S/4 HANA ERP is required.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative work environment even under pressure.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts. Proficient in engaging with both technical personnel and business leaders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving to navigate the complexities and challenges of ERP implementation projects. Ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to adapt to changing project requirements and business needs, managing multiple priorities without compromising on quality.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure steady progress and prevent disruptions.

Experience Level:

The candidate should have a total experience of 5-12 years in project managing an implementation of a SaaS-based ERP solution (Epicor, Infor LN, Microsoft D365, Oracle Fusion, or SAP S/4 HANA) with a minimum of 2 end-to-end implementation projects (with the last 4 years) as a project manager. Prior experience of implementation of a global ERP system would be preferred.
