Release Coordinator

  • Develop and implement comprehensive release strategies, encompassing timelines, milestones, and dependencies throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Product Management teams to ensure alignment and preparation for upcoming releases.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks or issues impacting release timelines or quality.
  • Ensure all changes are well-documented, communicated, and approved according to established change control processes.
  • Coordinate deployments in cloud environments, guaranteeing compliance with relevant security and operational policies.
  • Advocate for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices; drive automation to enhance release reliability and efficiency.
  • Monitor release progress and provide regular updates, including detailed performance metrics and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead the resolution of issues during release phases to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's release calendar, ensuring coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the merging of validated changes into main code branches, collaborating closely with development and QA teams.
  • Present planned changes in meetings and secure approvals as required across different regions.
  • Organize and conduct readiness meetings with stakeholders to assess readiness before deployment.
  • Assess post-release performance, coordinate hotfixes if needed, and facilitate Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR).
