Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering practice, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines.

Job Description
  • Migrate end-to-end data warehousing and ETL processes from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Design and develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines within cloud environments, maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Optimize existing SQL workflows on cloud platforms, enhancing overall data management capabilities.
  • Establish and enforce robust data quality, governance, and security standards within cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, driving the growth and development of the data engineering practice.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in migrating data platforms from on-premises systems to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing and ETL development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in cloud-based data warehousing, including performance tuning and platform administration.
  • Strong experience with data transformation, testing, and documentation.
  • Exceptional proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with cloud services and setting up data ingestion from various sources.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
