Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team at IBIS. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our yearly marketing calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media tools, and emerging platforms to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and engaging.
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy that resonates with our target audience, showcasing our brand's personality and values.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and manage social media accounts across various platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our agency to execute daily tasks, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
  • User-Generated Content: Encourage and leverage user-generated content to build brand loyalty and foster a sense of community.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Collaborate with barter and paid influencers to expand our reach and engage with new audiences.
  • Copy Editing: Review and edit copy for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging.

Business Analysis:

  • Performance Analysis: Conduct deep analysis of performance for each social media campaign to identify areas for improvement.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competition hotels on social media channels to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Monthly Reporting: Provide regular monthly reports to stakeholders on target and results.

Internal Interactions:

  • Commercial Head: Liaise with the Commercial Head of ibis & ibis Styles India to align commercial goals with social media objectives.
  • General Managers & DOS: Work closely with General Managers & DOS of ibis & ibis Styles India to ensure smooth execution of social media campaigns.
  • Head of Culinary: Collaborate with the Head of Culinary to develop content that showcases our culinary offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role is essential.
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing and communication skills are necessary to create engaging content.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics is required.
  • Creativity: Creativity in developing engaging and shareable content is crucial.
  • Trends Knowledge: Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing is essential.
  • Multitasking: Excellent multitasking and time-management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is vital to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required to navigate complex social media challenges.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to adapt to evolving trends and changes in the social media landscape is essential.
  • Brand Voice Consistency: Understanding of brand voice and the ability to maintain consistency in messaging is crucial.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: This role is based in our headquarters, where you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our social media initiatives.
