Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Collections Specialist to join our team at HCLTech. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing cash collections, accounts receivable, and customer relations.

About the Job Role

The role of Cash Collector encompasses all aspects of collections activity, including:

  • Cash Collection: Collecting payments from customers in a timely manner to minimize outstanding balances.
  • Account Management: Managing customer relationships, resolving queries, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Customer Relations: Building strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

You will be responsible for:

  • Implementing credit/account management strategies to optimize cash collection efficiency.
  • Managing aged receivables and debt collection activities to ensure compliance with defined metrics and SLAs.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to resolve payment disputes and reconcile account discrepancies.
  • Developing and maintaining effective communication channels with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collection of all accounts in the portfolio following the defined collection strategy and accountability of aged receivables as per defined metrics/SLAs.
  • Implementation of credit/account management, ascertainment of the payment patterns and, if necessary, implementation of corrective measures.
  • Accountability for debt and cash targets achievement on a quarterly/monthly basis.
  • Full compliance with all associated internal and Sarbox Controls.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in collections or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
