Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Senior Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of revenue management strategies that drive business growth and profitability for EXL. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing pricing structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue generation and maximize profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Revenue Growth Strategy: Develop and execute revenue growth strategies that align with EXL’s business objectives. Analyze market dynamics, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  2. Pricing Optimization: Determine optimal pricing structures and strategies based on market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to establish pricing guidelines and adjust pricing as needed.
  3. Revenue Forecasting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and demand patterns. Collaborate with finance and sales teams to establish revenue targets and budgets. Monitor performance against targets and adjust strategies accordingly.
  4. Demand Management: Utilize demand management techniques to optimize revenue. Analyze customer behavior, booking patterns, and market trends to forecast demand and adjust pricing and availability strategies accordingly.
  5. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze revenue data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management. Prepare regular reports and presentations on revenue performance, market trends, and pricing effectiveness.
  6. System Integration: Oversee the utilization of pricing and revenue management systems and tools. Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and effective utilization of revenue management software for forecasting, pricing analysis, and revenue reporting.
  7. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and competitive advantage.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives. Provide revenue insights and recommendations to support product development, sales planning, and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  2. Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques.
  3. Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
  4. Analytical and strategic thinking skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey revenue insights and recommendations.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  7. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  8. Business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy in revenue forecasting and analysis.
