Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures, integrating disparate data sources to support increasing data volumes and complexity.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models, enhancing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes.
• Develop and deploy Data Platforms integrating disparate data sources.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient with Azure cloud computing, including big data technologies.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing Big Data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.
• Experience with Azure: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Stream Analytics, SQL DW, Analysis Services, Azure Functions.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python/Scala, SQL, Spark-SQL.
