About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to deliver a modern data strategy to our customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts and experience with database design and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Gather data requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Normalize data models to eliminate redundancy and optimize database performance
  • Maintain metadata of the model, describing its structure, governance aspects, and additional business relevant data
  • Develop and establish standards and modeling patterns to ensure standardization and efficiency
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in data modeling
  • Experience with database design and optimization
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
